From the age of 14 years Vera first sat in a kayak and since then she has actively pursued the sport. Before starting this however she decided to follow her passion and be on the river a lot more to get more experience and have fun.

Joining a trip to the Tamur River in Nepal in 2013 got her very excited about theHimalayan rivers and made her come over to spend 2014’s autumn season in Nepal. Besides safety kayaking on trips and improving her kayak skills on the many rivers in Nepal she is teaching the Whitewater Adventures Nepal new trainees some kayakingskills and she is learning how to guide a raft herself. Vera is a fun and enthusiastic kayaking assistant on Whitewater Adventure Nepal trips this year.
