About Kathmandu & Chitwan Tour - 7N/8D

Your highlight in these trips will be; Kathmandu valley world heritage site of Nepal, Nagakot sunrise view of Mt Everest mountain region, half day Trishuli rafting and Chitwan National Park. The word 'Chitwan’ means - in the heart of the jungle, it covers 932 sq. km. in the flat lowland region of southern Nepal. It is one of the most important sub-tropical parks on the Indian subcontinent with populations of the endangered Royal Bengal tiger, Greater One-horned rhinoceros, Gangetic dolphin (Platanista gangetica), Wild Asian elephant, Gaur, Golden Monitor lizard, Gharial crocodile and other jungle animals.

Itinerary

Arrive in Kathmandu and be welcomed by your Adventure Hub Nepal (AHN) trip leader at the airport. Transfer to your hotel and relax and recover from your journey. We will then go for our welcome dinner at a restaurant nearby and have a pre-departure meeting with our group about the trip starting the next day.

Sightseeing around Kathmandu Valley. Today you will be doing a full day sightseeing around the Kathmandu valley which has so many world heritage sites you can visit with our tour guide. We will take you to Pashupati Nath, Bouddha Nath,  Patan Durbar Square and Patan museum. After visiting all these sites our Adventure Hub Nepal ( AHN ) guide will drop you back to your hotel where you can have a rest and warm shower and get ready to go for dinner. Enjoy the evening with leisure stay overnight at hotel in Kathmandu and pack for your Chitwan trip.

After breakfast your guide will come and pick you up from your hotel to take you to bus station for the drive to Chitwan. The bus trip is around five hours. After you arrive in Chitwan your tour guide will do a briefing about the National Park and what are the in-house rule. In the evening, enjoy a jungle walk with nature guide & sunset view from Rapti River. Stay overnight in lodge.

Elephant Ride and visit at Chitwan National Park, today will be your full day tour in Chitwan! Enjoy an elephant ride inside the National Park in the morning. In the afternoon you will visit the elephant breeding center, nature museum and do some bird watching. The evening activity we go and see famours Tharu cultural dance. Stay overnight in lodge.

Explore National Park today this will be your last in Chitwan National Park. Explore the Rapti River with a canoe ride,  do bird watching, experience a quick jeep ride and jungle walk. Have the afternoon off to relax get ready for next day to drive back to Kathmandu. Stay overnight at lodge.

Drive back to Kathmandu with half day rafting on the way from Chitwan National Park towards Kathmandu you will do a lovely half day river rafting trip. The Trishuli River has fun, bouncy whitewater rapids and after finished rafting drive back to Kathmandu. Get to your hotel drop your bags and go to do your last-minute shopping around Thamel which tourist hub of Kathmandu. Stay overnight in hotel.

Shopping and exploration day in Kathmandu. Today it will be a lazy morning with a nice sleep in and enjoy some last-minute shopping.  Stay overnight in Kathmandu.

It’s your last day in Nepal! Have breakfast, and then take in some last-minute shopping in Kathmandu if you have time. We’ll make sure you arrive at Kathmandu International Airport with plenty time before your flight home. Now, we’ll say our goodbyes and bid you farewell, armed with warm memories and gorgeous photos to show your loved ones.
