About Manaslu Circuit Trek
The Manaslu Circuit Trek is a remote, culturally rich Himalayan journey around Mount Manaslu (8,163 m / 26,781 ft), the world’s eighth-highest peak. The thirteen-day trek offers a glimpse of the authentic lifestyle in Nepal’s remote villages and the Himalayas.
After a short drive to Machha Khola, the trek begins through lush forests, terraced fields, and charming villages, following the Budhi Gandaki river gorge. The trail crosses suspension bridges and traditional villages shaped by Tibetan culture.
The ascent reaches Larke La Pass at 5,106 meters (16,929 feet), providing panoramic views of the surrounding peaks. On the descent, you pass through the enchanting villages of Bhimthang and Tilje before returning to the road head and heading back to Kathmandu. The trek starts from Kathmandu and follows the route below:
Kathmandu → Machha Khola (Drive) → Jagat → Dyang → Namrung → Lho → Samagaon → Samdo → Dharamsala (Larke Phedi) → Larke La Pass → Bimtang → Tilche → Chamje → Kathmandu
