Message from Ram Bhandari and Georgia Bhandari,

In 2007, we started an Australian company, Adventure Hub Nepal (AHN), with the aim to share our love of Nepal, Tibet, and Bhutan with like-minded, adventurous travellers seeking to discover new places and appreciate the natural wonders of this special part of the world.

Since our launch, we’ve welcomed groups from around the world to Nepal. We run Himalayan tours and treks, and many clients return for our quality, high standards, and safety. As an Australian-Nepalese team, we’re relaxed, welcoming, and focused on giving you the holiday of a lifetime.

From day trips to multiday expeditions, we offer a wide range of Nepal adventures for holidaymakers, thrill-seekers, families, and corporate groups. With years of experience, we prioritise safety and great service, so no matter what you choose, you’re in safe hands.

We also offer trekking, peak climbing, corporate and school trips, mountain biking, whitewater rafting and kayaking courses from beginner to advanced, stand-up paddleboarding, Chitwan and Bardia National Park safaris, volunteer community projects, and fundraising. These activities form the core of AHN’s adventures.

Since the beginning, our philosophy has been to leave only footprints. All our trips are fully supported, and our guides follow strict environmental standards to protect Nepal’s landscape for future generations. We also support local communities by donating a portion of each AHN trip to two school projects in the Trishuli Valley.

AHN gives its team the chance to share their passion and also help you discover your own. Our trips open the door to personal growth, teamwork, excitement, and new challenges — and the chance to explore a new world and make new friends.

We have designed some of the region’s most original treks and extreme adventures.

For example, our whitewater rafting, kayaking, trekking, safaris, and Yoga Retreat Trek. Our Mountain Bike Tour holds the distinction of being the highest-altitude mountain bike expedition with the longest and deepest decline in the world.

We also run mountaineering expeditions into the high peaks of Nepal, including Mera Peak and Island Peak.

Adventure Hub Nepal mainly employs Nepalese staff, and we take pride in supporting them. For safety, we are one of the few companies to take a satellite phone on every trip and carry a comprehensive first-aid kit. All AHN staff are qualified in first aid and river rescue.

Our trips offer excellent food, great service, top-notch safety, and quality equipment. We are proud to have established the Sharmila Foundation, a charity that primarily supports families and women in need of psychological care in less fortunate areas. The fund has also helped many communities rebuild schools and homes after the devastating 2015 earthquake. Many clients are inspired by this work and return to join our charity projects.
